@Vellyindian I do agree Dravid doesn’t get the recognition he deserves, but it’s not sachins fault. Of course sachin does play 4 records, he’s a master player, no one will ever come close to beating his records, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t play for INDIA! HE does, the entire indian team puts all their pressure on sachin, including the billions of viewers, it’s tough thts why u always see him getting out in the 90’s. No one shuld call any one God. sachin is a classy player jus like dravid.

Besides, Soccer is probably the most popular sport in England and even in that, they have only won one world cup, that too in 1966 which is rather poor. If the lack of popularity of Cricket in England is an excuse for England sucking at it, sports itself isn’t very popular in India so it doesn’t matter.

India has won a Hockey world cup whereas England hasn’t. India has won all 3 Kabaddi world cups that have been played so far, Viswanathan Anand has been the chess champion since 2007 and is considered to be one of the best players. Unlike England we dominate sports that originated in our country in addition to being better than England in some sports they invented too.

@sundarchip Cricket is not the most popular game in England. It ranks 4th or 5th .Soccer is. With 1.3 billion people, tell me one sport ,apart from cricket, you guys are good at ? India is nowhere near England in comparision in Sports (Soccer ?(haha), Olympics haha….hahah) (PS I am Indian too. )

It’s no wonder you British jokers have 3 separate sports teams for England, Scotland and Ireland. You are well known for being thrashed in your own games so you want to increase your chances of winning something by sending separate teams. Despite that, you British clowns hardly ever manage to win anything significant in the larger scheme of things (world cups and so on). Hell, England was one of the weakest teams in international cricket throughout the 90’s.

FYI, In 2007/2008 England lost test series to India both in England and in India. They managed to beat India 3-2 in the ODI series that was held in England but in the 7 match ODI series played in India the next year, they got thrashed 5-0. They were lucky the last 2 matches were cancelled due to the 2008 Mumbai Terror attack otherwise India would have raped them 7-0.

How many world cups has England won despite “inventing” the game of cricket and hosting more world cups than any other country? ZERO. The world T20 is held every 2 years rather than 4 so it’s more like a mini-world cup, even if you consider that as a world cup win, India has still won 3 world cups (2 ODI and 1 T20) whereas England have won just 1. That’s an abysmal record for a country that is credited with inventing the game.

thts coz tht was his nick name, its nt as if he treats him as elder brother. However, tht does’nt take anything away 4m their relationship…..coz evry1 knws tht their is no ill blood between any of the fab 5 Sachin, Saurav, Rahul, Laksman, Kumble (nt including Sehwag coz he came a bit later)…….n most of the players call him Dada or Dadi including Sachin, n I guess their is loads of Mutual admiration between these guys!!!

dravid has really shown what a team player he is in this england series!..in test matches he played superbly with top order and then with lower order he had no option than to play lofted strokes and get out!!…and did anyone see yesterday’s match?..the guy was 60 odd not out with 10 overs to go!..he would hav got century in his last match easily but sacrificed his wicket for the team!..dhoni is another such player!!..

English beating the hell out of the indians. Indians were defeated, kicked, bruised, thrashed, killed and even called donkeys by their English Masters. First white washing the pathetic indians in all the 4 test matches 4-0, then beating them in the t20 format and then beating india in ODIs as well not even allowing the poor indians to win even a single game, beating them in all three formats of the game comfortably. This just proves that the world cup was fix and ipl matches are fixed.
