Professional athletes minds go through alot and do things sub conciously at times and samuels was one example. Warne should of just gotten over it. Worse things have happened around the world. And besides if you watch the vid of hussey again it was unlikely he was going to get the second run anyway. Regardless of Samuels grabbing him or not

Shane Warne is one of the greatest cricketers active during my lifetime but this was absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Do we want to see cricketers acting like a bunch of yobs as they do in so many other sports? I certainly do not and it’s all the more unacceptable coming from a great and highly experienced player like Warne.

Samuels’ behaviour was disgusting and the umpires should have thrown him from the field for his behaviour while bowling! Warne had every right to be revved up and as for throwing the bat! And yet Samuels gets off scot-free and Warne gets all the shit! Disgustng!
Yeah right, was the umpire killed by an underarm lob? No…. Obviously a ball can hurt but is was not thrown hard at all. Had that bat connected with someone it would have done far more damage.

Actually, being intentionally hit with a “cricket ball” is a lot worst. The ball is not soft, it’s like being it by a boulder. An umpire died recently, from being hit by a cricket ball during a game.

I didn’t see the game. Just from this footage it seems what Samuals did was far worse than being hit by an underarm lob. That bat flew a long way, could have done some serious damage.

You can’t know why he had to leave… The worst Warnie did was flick the ball into Samuels, and that can be pretty easily dismissed by the fact that he was between him and the keeper. Warne was doing every thing you want a skipper to do, stick up for his players and try to create a wicket…

If you were a proud Aussie, you’d appreciate what this represents for the Big Bash. That these games aren’t just considered as just a few extra dollars in their pockets and something to do for a couple of nights a week….
